MEET THE COMMITTEE
Like all societies that are part of the University of Nottingham's SU, we have a committee who organise, and maintain the function of the society. Each role is important, and without each position, we would struggle to survive as a society. Below you can find out more about each position and what each person is responsible for. Click on the photos for information about the person, role and a link to their e-mail address!

Emily is the wise owl of our first aid group, providing wisdom and advice for newcomers and continuing members. She is currently an active member of SJA, and ensures that her society runs smoothly, having progressed from being the treasurer last year. She has plenty of experience in the society and is ready to engage the public and Nottingham University students in raising awareness of first aid!

Lizzy is mainly in charge of ensuring that the society continues to conform to Gold STARS standards within the University of Nottingham. Outside of that, she also keeps websites up and running and acts as general dogsbody, keeping the stocks checked and tidy, and ensuring the smooth running of the society. If you find any issues with the website, please email Lizzy.

Becca is the organisational goddess that keeps us running. With her secretarial prowess Becca's typical roles are keeping our minutes in order for every meeting and sending a weekly email. Becca normally answers general queries about anything and everything, so if you have any questions, please send an email to Becca!

James is the tight-fisted Scrooge that is our treasurer (He's actually a lovely person). He’s responsible for managing the group’s finances and is in charge of spending our grant (given to us each semester by the SU), ordering new equipment and monitoring stock levels.

Rosy has been dodging membership fees since her early teens when she started out as a cadet in SJA! We are very lucky that Rosy is bringing her expertise to one of the hardest jobs on committee! As well as being an Advanced First Aider she responsible organizing all the training sessions that go on in the hub and helping to co-ordinate official SJA First Aid courses.

Zoe is our Social Secretary, brimming with ideas for social events throughout the year, from pub crawls to laser tag, and our traditional end-of-year trip to Alton Towers. Any inquiries about our different socials and any personal preferences, (ie, non-drinker, food requirements), please direct to Zoe.
